Why onboos exists
There was this kid who loved systems
I grew up around production. Early on, I was fascinated by how companies work, and above all, why they often don't. What started as curiosity became a career: founded an e-commerce startup, carried operational responsibility as COO, implemented ERP systems. Everywhere the same picture: teams struggling with pointless work because their systems don't talk to each other.
10 person-days for a single click
Then I switched sides and joined the ERP industry. In presales at a vendor, I had to explain to a customer why connecting our own webshop to our own ERP would cost 10 person-days. Same vendor. Standard feature. 10 days. Thousands of francs for something that should be a checkbox. That's when it hit me: the system doesn't work for the business owner. The owner works for the system.
And that's exactly why onboos exists
I believe business owners should spend their energy on the things they love, not on systems that work against them. onboos is the answer: we start with your business, not with the software. We ask uncomfortable questions before we make recommendations. And sometimes we say: "No, you don't need a new system for that." What you will never get: an off-the-shelf recommendation.
